How to connect a drip irrigation system?

To connect the drip irrigation kit, it is necessary to use a PVC pipe with a diameter of 32 mm or higher as the main pipe, or a 3/4″ regular watering hose.

We lay the main pipe across the irrigation rows. Opposite the row, we drill an 8 mm hole in the main pipe, insert the "mushroom" of the starter fitting into it and secure it with a compression nut. On the other side of the starter fitting, we put on the drip tape and secure it with a compression nut. We lay the tape along the row to be watered and at the end we seal it with a regular office binder or tie the end of the tape in a knot. In case of damage to the drip tape during weeding, we repair it with a repair fitting.
