The first greenhouse plant in Ukraine began operations in the Vinnytsia region in 1995 and was officially established in 1999 by Leonid Markovich Midyany, the founder of the sole proprietorship, under the brand names “Teplitsa Termos” and “Greenhouses from Voronovitsa” and are currently known as “Nova Teplitsa” and “TeplitsaNova.” During this time, Leonid’s team has continued to refine and develop new, ergonomic, and durable greenhouse models using modern equipment in collaboration with partners, which enables them to manufacture high-quality greenhouse frames and arches. Leonid and his partners have opened several production facilities in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, and other locations across Ukraine. The performance characteristics of the frames and covering materials are constantly being improved; construction technologies, as well as heating, drip irrigation, and lighting systems in the greenhouses, are also being refined. Greenhouses are manufactured from galvanized pipes. Fully welded arches made from 40x20 mm pipes, with additional roll-formed stiffening ribs to ensure the frame’s strength, have become particularly popular. Leonid Markovich’s company and partners have extensive experience in building a wide variety of greenhouses—from the smallest hotbeds to large greenhouse complexes.

A bit of history

Leonid Markovich can be safely called the king of greenhouses. After all, he was the first in Ukraine to start making prefabricated greenhouses and spread their demand among summer residents and gardeners throughout Ukraine.

About our competitors

Today, many of his competitors in the greenhouse business were once his managers and dealers—people who worked alongside him, and whom he gave the opportunity to earn money through reselling. Over time, they branched out on their own and began building similar greenhouses in their own garages. As a result, many of them later became scammers, selling substandard greenhouses of dubious quality. Some of these competitors still sell what are essentially parodies of greenhouses that can watch video reviews, on Leonid Markovich’s YouTube channel.

We installed a polycarbonate greenhouse this spring after the previous one made of film failed to cope with the wind and snow. Polycarbonate turned out to be much stronger than film, it withstood strong winds and spring frosts. Having decided to buy a greenhouse from a reliable greenhouse manufacturer, we did not go wrong. The installation turned out to be more difficult than expected, and I would not have managed without the help of my husband and son. We bought a polycarbonate greenhouse for our summer house. It took us two days to assemble, but it was worth the effort. The entire structure withstood all the summer storms and showed excellent results. The harvest was simply magnificent - tomatoes, peppers and greens grew like yeast.
